Moving ahead, there are things to think about, things we need to do, things we need to remember.
Is it hard sometimes to understand who is tellling the truth, hard to get to the basic reality behind what's being said? Do common phrases occasionally ring hollow, as the speaker violates the normal meaning of the words being used? Much that is said today is presented in euphemisms, terms that hide the true meaning. Code words are everywhere .... sometimes you need a "secret decoder ring", just like in the comic books! And much that's being said seems to be just nonsense. When you do certain things, the results are very predictable ... even when they say the opposite will occur. Rain falls, every time, no matter what you call it. For example, massive government spending makes a recession much worse, and eventually turns it into a depression. Washington is now doing exactly the same things that made "The Depression" so bad; how can we expect different results today? But the evening news won't tell you that, because ... well, you know the reasons.
